"Am I doing this right?" The mechanics of operating your erection device.

A lot of people are nervous about how to use their erection device. You think, “What if I can’t get it deflated?” “What if I can’t inflated it during intimacy?”

My best piece of advice is to practice! AND don’t leave your surgeons office without doing a test run. You need to be sure that you can operate the device on your own. Do not let the surgeon make you feel rushed.

Here are some helpful tips on how to operate the pump erection device.

  1. Hold the pump bulb steady with your non-dominant hand. This keeps the bulb from moving all around while you’re trying to squeeze it.
  2. Do not pump it fast! Use slow steady squeezes. It takes about 5 squeezes to fully inflate.
  3. To deflate, hold the button/dent above the pump bulb for 3-5 seconds. To make the saline go back into the reservoir faster, squeeze your penis as you hold the button/dent.

For the malleable rod, it’s much simpler. You just bend it into the angle you want it. That’s it! The biggest issue is concealment in clothing because it’s always semi-rigid.

Here are some tips for concealment.

  1. Wear snug fitting boxer briefs to hold it close to your body.
  2. Use the natural crevices on your body to help conceal it.

Remember to practice, practice, practice before becoming intimate. It should become a natural habit with not much thought to it.

Stay steady,
